Advanced Microscopy Group (AMG) is headquartered in the greater Seattle area and is a division of Westover Scientific (a leader in the scientific community internationally and in the U.S. and Canada for over 20 years). Focused on quality, performance, and innovation, AMG designs and develops state-of-the-art microscopy equipment, software, and optical components for the life sciences industry.

The AMG product line includes microscopes, digital imaging equipment, and software for a variety of routine and specialty applications. AMG also offers a full lineup of objectives, vessel holders and light cubes as well as customized vessel holders and light cubes.

In 2009 AMG introduced a revolutionary fluorescence microscope to the market place, the EVOS® fl, which revolutionized the way fluorescence microscopy is approached. Unlike other inverted microscopes, the EVOS platform offers a fully integrated digital imaging system that includes a high-resolution digital camera and an LCD display.

In 2010, AMG announced a distribution partnership with the world leader in serving science - Fisher Scientific, Inc. - to become the exclusive distributor of the EVOS microscope line and related products in the United States and Canada.
